Journey along the Perkiomen Trail, Part 1

This morning I went hiking along the Perkiomen Trail from near Schwenksville into the Gratorsford area in Montgomery County, PA. It was a beautiful sunny summer day and much of the time I was very close to the Perkiomen Creek. Below are a few of my sights with more to follow in another post at a later date. And I was excited to get a good picture of a red-tailed hawk!

  3. I go hiking very often and I enjoyed your pictures so much. You picture of a bird is fantastic. I try to take pictures of birds but I wasn't yet successful. And flowers are a pure pleasure to look at. Excellent pictures. Love them so much. I am sure that you had a great time while hiking.

  4. Great hiking weather recently. The shot of the hawk with the light coming through his wings is especially fine.

  8. You took the bird perfectly, Tim.
The flowers don't ever need much light to be beautiful, they are like sun and stars.
