A Walk on the Banbury-Mopac Trail

Back on last Monday October 31, I went for a morning walk on and off the Banbury-MOPAC Trail in Franconia Township, Montgomery County, PA. When I first started the walk, it was still a bit frosty out and a bit of snow was still remaining from the rare October snow we had on the 29th. It was a beautiful morning to soak in the sun and all of nature surrounding me. Below are some of the highlights of the morning though unfortunately I am unable to reproduce the music of the birds from that walk.

  2. Looks like a great walk. I guess the worst of the snow missed you. It's been more than a week since we lost power, and it doesn't look like they will have the wires back on our road for another 3 or 4 days. Our generator has been repaired 4 times and is scheduled to die again tonight. The electrician can't figure it out.

In any case, this looks like it was a good walk. I also especially like that last photo and the one of the corn stalks, but the series works well to tell the story of your walk..

  3. Beautiful, Tim. The last photo -- you should make a card from that, or at least a print. Lovely. :)

  4. Tim, you always find wonderful places to walk. You always discover something very special and interesting.

We have snow on the mountains and when I saw a few pictures of yours with snow i thought that winter is so impatient.

Beautiful, simply beautiful pictures of late autumn.

  8. The snow still amazes me, Tim. I wonder if/when we'll get ours here in the Netherlands. I'm sure you'll get more before long! In the meantime, enjoy the frost, as we will, too.

  9. Depend the season some birds are very noisy. In particular the geese. My grand children are noisy too in particular my grand daughter who is two years old now.

Her mother uses to say : "you can shout but only outside" ; she knows that....
