The Beauty of Spring

Today was a beautiful Spring day in the mid seventies degrees Fahrenheit. While grilling cheesburgers this evening, I took the following photos around home. It's a fun time. :)

 A beautiful red-flowering shrub

 A forsythia beginning to bloom

A hyacinth in our flower bed

Beautiful crocuses in our neighbor's flowerbed

Another sign of spring - charcoal grilling has begun

 Smoking good burgers

Delicious charcoal-grilled cheeseburgers just about ready to be eaten :)

  1. I think spring is early everywhere. Here in Atlanta we will have temperatures in the 80s or more for the rest of the week. Our azalea is in full bloom and the dogwood trees are flowering – so early. I hope we won’t get another freeze. I saw that even in the Dakotas it is very warm. Your flowers are lovely.

    1. Thanks, Vagabond. I think you're right about Spring being earlier everywhere. The next ten days here it's suppose to be in the mid sixties to lower 70s.

  2. Love the flowers my friend, There is still snow here but it is melting fast. One never knows what will happen with the weather. I hope it stays warm.

  5. I noticed yesterday that the country side is blossomed from part to part with the blacktorn's white flowers
The weather is rainy here ; so I'll rather roast our next meal in the oven.

  7. beautiful photos. You're a Webber grill cooker, eh? I wish I still had a Webber and not a gas grill.

    1. Thanks, sage. I much prefer charcoal grilling over gas grilling. You could still buy a Weber grill, you know, even if it's just a simple one like I have. :)
