Journey Aong the Perkiomen Creek, Part 2

Back on August 23, I took a hike along the Perkiomen Creek near Schwenksville going towards Gratorford in Montgomery County, PA. This is part two of that hike on a beautiful sunny day - something we have not been having often now with the various tropical storms affecting us.

  1. Lovely shot of ducks. Did you spot the monarchs around the milkweed? That milkweed should be popping soon.

  10. Tim, these pictures are awesome. I like them all no preference whatsoever. And a picture of ducks at the dusk so beautiful. And young moon is wonderful. Love these moments; they make me feel happy. Thank your for that, Tim.

  11. The fruit at the top and the bottom of this post was grown by my aunt because it looks like a bird. We call it "arbre à perruche" and find it in green houses.
You know that I enjoy the purple flowers and the green leaves seeming indian feathers but the duck against the light and the moon in the blue sky give me peace.

  12. Thanks, everyone, for thoughts and comments. It is obvious that the photo with the ducks was a hit. Ted, unfortunately, I did not see any monarchs around the milkweeds.
