Sometime my wife and I want to go paddle boating here.
There is something artistic about a colorful grouping of canoes.
A line of Canadian Geese with a woodsy shore line in the distance
A female mallard on the lake
A snake out for a swim?
Some pretty purple flowers along the lake's shoreline
A rabbit not far from the lake
A yellow flower along the lake shore line
I like your overall lifestyle-birding-nature-music-family-ice cream-all sounds good to me. Nice photos too.
ReplyDeletenice! i like the canoe shot. did you know DRE is having a church service there in september?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful walk at Peace Valley and I always think its a peaceful place with lots to see.
ReplyDeleteLovely ducks and rabbit too.
I love that you continue your walks, Tim. This is what I've always known about you...your love of Nature. And you're right about that beautiful setting of colorful canoes! :)
ReplyDeleteThe yellow flower's picture at the bottom is quite a master piece, Tim. I like the purple flowers too, they are framed in the shade. The snake does me think at the Loch Ness monster. A nice place for animals to live in peace and especially the female duck is happy and smiling.
ReplyDeleteThanks, larry. Life needs a good mix of things to make it worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteThanks, kirsten. And no I did not know DRE was holding a service in the park. When are they planning to do so?
Thanks, sue anne. Glad you could share in our enjoyment of Peace Valley Park vicariously. :)
Thanks, ginnie. And, yes, nature is definitely a part of who I am.
Thanks, cergie. I do so enjoy your comments. You see so many things that I think many people do not.
