Celebrating Mom's 80th Birthday

This past Sunday, we with my Mom's family celebrated her 80th birthday at her home. My Mom is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's Disease. But she seemed to be really happy while we were there celebrating her birthday. Earlier in the day, a Sunday School class from her church came and sang some hymns for her. I wasn't there then but I heard that she really enjoyed that singing. Below are some photos from her birthday celebration.

  1. Ohhhh. You can be so grateful for this memory, Tim. My mom died of Alzheimer's at age 80 but it was a blessing. I do hope yours has round-the-clock care. They need constant superfvision!

  2. Your mother did a good job and has a large familly.
She deserves your attention and your affection. In spite of her disease, she can notice and feel how you all love her.
Nice having such a good day all together.
Did you cook the cake, Tim ?

Thanks, cergie. I think you are right. I think she did and can feel the love and joy around her. I think my sister made the cake.
