Hiking the West Side - Nockamixon State Park

This past Saturday late afternoon, I enjoyed spending time enjoying autumn at Nockamixon State Park in Bucks County, PA on the Quakertown side. Late Sunday evening, my wife and I returned there briefly. The pictures below reflect some of our time there. Both days were delightfully sunny and warm with bright blue skies.

  2. Tim, you had a great time in this park. The place is beautiful with a wonderful lake. It's so peaceful there. And colors of trees are rich and beautiful. And I think you captured with your camera monarch butterfly. She is wonderful.

Every picture is special. And I love a young moon. It's so gentle.

Great pictures and very impressive. Love them so much!!!

  5. You have some great photographs, Tim.

Although I have visited Three Rivers Stadium via television on many Sunday afternoons, my only actual stop in Pennsylvania has been at the Pittsburgh airport. I am always amazed when I see the outdoor beauty of a state "back East."

I am not sure if it is a kayak or a canoe in your initial photo, but my first canoe was red and I imagine that image appears exactly as I would have looked once upon a time.

  12. These purple flowers are the stars of autumn, I like them and butterfies enjoy them too.
The orange one is mythic : Monarque (Danaus plexippus) is a symbol of your country, it is brave and comes from far each year.
