Hey Tim, Looks like you had a great walk in the forest, I noticed you have no snow. We got our snow last Saturday, I thing it will stay now until spring. Have a great week and stay warm.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Horst. It was a fun walk. We only had one major snow this season back in the end of October. The winter here has been warmer than usual over all.
DeleteLovely abstracts and a good walk. This morning our thermometer said 9 degrees, F.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ted. That's cold. We had that temperature one morning over a week ago but not since.
DeleteCold weather is here too finally. All seems different then. It is the magic of a true winter.
ReplyDeleteThe berries (wild rose berries ?) were not yet frost enough though.
Thanks, Cergie. And, yes, winter does make all things different.
DeleteWe also have a cold weather and tomorrow will be plenty of snow.
ReplyDeleteI always wanted to say that you have a talent for photographing little and interesting moments. I try to see through your eyes nature but I can't find these interesting moments. I created an excuse for myself that nature is different in Utah but I know that this is only an excuse.
I love very much these blue berries covered with snow. Moss in your picture created a beautiful abstract pattern. Everything is very striking and always touching. Simple and extremely beautiful.
Greetings from Kaya.
Thanks, Kaya. In the winter time, one often needs to look harder for beautiful photographic moments; but they are there. :) Glad you enjoyed my pictures.
DeleteThank you for taking us along on your beautiful hike. It's nice to see color in the middle of winter. Lovely images! I especially like the pretty blue berries and lush green moss photographs ... all are wonderful, though. Always a pleasure to visit your blog!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Julie. I always enjoy sharing my hikes with others via my blog! Glad you enjoyed the photos!
DeleteThe lichen and moss is so pretty this time of year! Enjoyed seeing you at the end of your post -- you weren't cold, were you? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nancy. I always enjoy the beauty of lichen and moss any time of the year. But this time of the year, they are one of a few colorful photographic opportunities.
DeleteHey Tim, in Lisbon the cold weather has not arrived yet and today is a beautiful day. Thanks for the lovely hike I did with you, your photos are amazing.

Thanks, Maria. While we have experienced some cold weather, it has been warmer than most years. Glad I could share some of the beauty around me with you and my other readers.
DeleteBrrrr, It looks like a chilly but beautiful hike you went on.
ReplyDeleteI really like the ice patterns and the winter Juniper berries. Nice photos Tim.
Thanks, photowannabe. It was a chilly hike but a great time outdoors. I love to experience nature in every season of the year.
DeleteMy favorite image, Tim, is of the blue berries on the evergreen branch!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ginnie. They are beautiful.
DeleteThank you for sharing your beautiful photos, Tim!
DeleteI wish you a great week.
Wil, ABC Wednesday Team.
Thanks Reader Wil. Glad you enjoyed them!
DeleteMerci pour la belle promenade que j'ai pu faire avec vous et pour votre passage chez moi !
