A Hike in Central Perkiomen Valley Park

This morning I went for a hike in Central Perkomen Valley Park near Schwenksville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The weather was gorgeous and so were the spring sights. Enjoy a bit of my hike as shown below:

 Pretty blue and yellow flowers

 Some beautiful purple flowers

 A gaggle of geese

Beautiful ducks on the Perkiomen Creek

 More beautiful flowers

 Still more

A large trunk that is mostly hollow inside

 Beautiful bluebells

 More pretty wildflowers

 Wild roses leafing out

I almost missed this friendly snake

Part of the path through the woods
with swamp marigolds lining it

 A turtle and its reflection

A small branch of a flowering tree

  5. Hi Tim,

Many thanks for your comment on my Californie en francais blog. I hope that your great weather continues straight through Spring and into Summer! Happy weekend, in any case! And keeps those wildflowers blooming!

  7. Yes, spring is definitely here, but I seem to have missed winter. Great shots, even a turtle!

  8. P.S. Thanks for your comments on my blog. For some reason one reached me via email that never appeared on the blog. As to the damage at the mill, they are investigating the damage and it looks like at least 2 weeks unless they have to replace the entire furnace.
